Chinam Augustine Chinaedu, a dedicated music educator and artist with a passion for nurturing musical talents. Born on August 28, 1977, a Nigerian by nationality, hailing from Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State. As a married man with children, he is blessed with a loving family that supports his endeavours.

His academic journey in music began with a Bachelor of Education degree in Music from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, which he completed between 2012 and 2016. He furthered his education with a Master’s degree in performance (voice) from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) in Rivers State.

Currently, he serves as a music educator at Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri, and St Francis College Rumuokwuta. His experience in teaching and music direction has equipped him with the skills to mentor students and lead musical ensembles.

As a multifaceted musician, he possesses a range of skills that include music direction, choral conduction, multi-instrumentalism, and composition. He composed numerous choral works with piano, organ, and orchestral accompaniment. His expertise extends to music software analysis, music scoring and notation, studio engineering, and acoustic piano tuning and repairs. He also had the privilege of adjudicating in several choral competitions.

In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, teaching, and playing musical instruments. These activities not only bring him joy but also help him stay connected to his passion for music.
